After successfully completing the Challenge Time, the local Character came
and greeted us and we took a photo with her. It’s a her as she has eggs.

　

　

　

　

After an hour and a half of swimming, we are back at our hotel, enjoying
lunch time.
After lunch, will be the challenge time!

Every time we take our 10 minute walk to the beach, the students enjoy
speaking to each other and enjoying the ocean breeze.

It is our last practice before the challenge event in the afternoon. We
will practice 20 minute sessions today and swim in the deeper parts of the
water. Shallow enough for the teachers to stand comfortably, but deep
enough that the children would want to swim rather walk in the water.

A hearty breakfast is a great way to start the day to give us energy for
our big day ahead of us.
The hotel staff has waken up early to prepare tea and breakfast for us. At
times we act like this is normal but it takes hours of planning and
preparing to have tea and meals for us - thank you to the Kasyouen Hotel
staff.

Early to bed, early to rise, makes one

Light on at 6:00 as we get ready for a full day in

the ocean. Today, we will go swimming in the

morning and in the afternoon the students will

participate in the Challenge Time Swimming

Event. The students have chosen a distance

that is appropriate for themselves and will try

to swim that distance non stop. Wish them luck.

Now, the students are filling up their bottles

After teacher meetings about today and

about tomorrow, we are heading back to our

rooms to get some sleep. After a full day

of travel and swimming, all the children

must to so tired and sleepy.

The hotel is so quiet, you can hear a pin drop.

Until tomorrow morning, good night.

The last of the fireworks under a smiling waxing crescent moon.

Then we moved to individual fireworks,
In the background you can see the evening lights of the boats doing squid
fishing,

We started the night with a major firework show.

　

　

　

We are all so hungry after 2 hours of swimming,
The students and staff will enjoy the lovely meal prepared for the
students.

Wow! The students really seem to enjoy swimming

in the ocean. They are swimming with confidence

and seem to be enjoying their time in the water.

We will be washing up and taking photos before

getting ready for a much deserved dinner.
