We could only enjoy the views of the prefecture from the bus and tomorrow will be our first opportunity to explore. We were very fortunate to have volunteer guides to teach us about the important sites and as well the history of the park. The hand drawn pictures of from the survivors were shocking and heartbreaking. One hour wasn’t enough, but it was an important experience for all of the students. -- 亮(ryo) Lunch-- 亮(ryo) Lunch Time!lecture, the students are very hungry as we have lunch at Aioi. The restaurant was kind enough to provide a lunches for students that have dietary restrictions. These are the lunches for the Muslim and Hindi students. -- 亮(ryo) Lectures from two atomic bomb survivorsYoshiyuki. They spoke about their amazing stories about their heartbreaking stories of survival. It has been 77 years since the bombing of Hiroshima so there are fewer and fewer survivors so this is an extraordinary experience for all the students. -- 亮(ryo) Peace Offeringwith our Hiroshima school trip as planned. As we pray for peace, our thoughts will be for those who have suffered from the affects of the typhoon 11. -- 亮(ryo) We have Arrived safelystation, we are now in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. We have been greeted by brisk winds caused by the typhoon but no rain. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. The students seem really relaxed and are enjoying the train ride as they read books, play cards, and chat the train ride away. -- 亮(ryo) Now at Shin Osakato get on our Shinkansen. We will have a quick breakfast before getting on our Shinkansen. The students are so well behaved while waiting for our train. -- 亮(ryo) Good Morningsend off. We are now on our way to Shinosaka. Please continue to check the website for periodic updates. -- 亮(ryo) 人権参観(9月2日)人権参観を実施するのも3年ぶりとなります。 全学級が人権をテーマにした授業を参観していただきました。 自分や周りの人のことを考える授業や過去や現在の人権的な事象を取り上げて考える授業を公開しました。 日々の教育活動の中で人権感覚を豊かにしていくことも大切ですが、45分間人権をテーマに学習することも重要です。各家庭でも今日の学習について話していただけたらと思います。 出前授業(9月1日)あいにくの雨模様で、学習園のひまわりも下を向いていました。 今日は3年生が、カルビー出前授業を受けました。 お菓子の選び方や栄養について教えていただきました。 資料や説明がわかりやすく、楽しいお菓子の食べ方について学ぶことができました。 |
