After wonderful dinner in which all of us ate a bit too much, we went for a evening stroll up to Mt Kasayama.  In English, we do not have a term for this, but in Italian, there is a well used word, passeggiata(パッセジャタ)- a stroll in the evening.  

We took a brisk 20 minute passeggiata up to the nearby observation deck.  We saw the mouth of the volcano and then went up to see a magnificent view.  We could see a wide open view of Japan Sea, with many small islands perfecting the view.  The sun had just set and the sky was full of different hues of orange and pink.  We also had a lovely sea breeze to make the time just magical.  

Now that the evenings are warmer, why don’t we go on a passeggiata sometime - to Ikeda Castle or up to the Park on Mt Satsuki.
