After breakfast, today’s main event is Mori no Kuni Park. The students will work in their usual activity groups of four or five, or six.. Once we arrive, each group will be able to choose its own activities and move around the park at its own pace.

This gives the students an opportunity to make their own decisions: What would they like to try? Which challenges can they manage? Which ones might require some help from their friends?

Here, the students won’t just learn about nature—they will experience it. Surrounded by forest, they will climb, balance, jump, crawl, and challenge themselves on a field athletic course built into the natural landscape at the base of Mt Daisen.
